Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Rayz Security (the "Service"), provided by Rayz Security Inc. ("Rayz Security," "we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.

1. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

The person who creates an organization's workspace on Rayz Security is that organization's initial administrator and can invite teammates, assign roles (Security or Product membership), and manage the organization's integrations and settings.

2. The Service

Rayz Security helps teams review proposed product and infrastructure changes for security and compliance impact — generating threat models, mapping changes to compliance frameworks, and tracking remediation tasks, optionally through connected tools like Jira. The Service uses AI models to generate analysis, summaries, and recommendations. That output is a decision aid, not a substitute for your own judgment or for a qualified security, legal, or compliance review where one is warranted — you remain responsible for the decisions your organization makes based on it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store or process data you don't have the right to share with us.
• Attempt to access another organization's data, workspaces, or accounts without authorization.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the Service's underlying models or source code.
• Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to bypass its access controls or rate limits.
• Use the Service to build a directly competing product.

4. Subscriptions and trials

Where the Service is offered on a free-trial basis, the trial gives access to some or all features for a limited period, with no payment required to start. Paid plans, if and when you subscribe to one, are billed on the terms presented to you at checkout, including any renewal and cancellation terms disclosed at that time. We'll give you reasonable notice before any change to your plan's pricing takes effect.

5. Your data

You (or your organization) own the content you submit to the Service — change descriptions, technical context, and anything else you upload or enter. We process it to provide the Service, including sending it to the AI providers we use to generate reviews and summaries. We don't sell your data or use it to train models shared outside your organization. Deleting your organization's account removes access to that data going forward, subject to reasonable backup-retention and legal-retention periods.

6. Third-party integrations

Connecting a third-party service (for example, Jira) authorizes Rayz Security to exchange data with it on your behalf, governed by that provider's own terms in addition to these. We're not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services you choose to connect.

7. Intellectual property

Rayz Security retains all rights in the Service itself — its software, design, and underlying technology. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you; you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your organization's own internal purposes for as long as your account remains active and in good standing.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that AI-generated analysis is complete, accurate, or free of error, and we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rayz Security won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service — even if we've been advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms and don't correct it within a reasonable period after notice, or immediately if your use poses a security or legal risk to us or other users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify account administrators directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
